Man is executed on farm due to disagreement over the purchase of a car in Patrocínio A 49-year-old man was shot to death on Tuesday (16) on a farm in the Boqueirão region, rural area of Patrocínio, in Alto Paranaíba. According to the Military Police (PM), the crime was motivated by a disagreement involving the purchase and sale of a vehicle later identified as cloned and a debt estimated at R$50,000. Two suspects, aged 27 and 29, were arrested in the act less than 20 minutes after the homicide. With them, the police seized the weapon used in the crime, ammunition and a cap used to hide the face. After the shots, the suspects fled in a white car. Weapons seized on highway As soon as they received information about the crime, the police began tracking based on the characteristics of the perpetrators, the vehicle used and the escape route. Shortly afterwards, a team from the Military Highway Police (PMRv) located the car at MG-230 and carried out the approach. During the action, the military found a revolver with five fired rounds and one intact, in addition to eight rounds that were in the driver's jacket. Initially, the two men were arrested for illegal possession of a firearm, but, after cross-referencing information collected at the scene of the crime, they were also arrested for the homicide that had just occurred. Disagreement in the purchase and sale of a cloned vehicle According to the PM sergeant, Mário Júnior, preliminary investigations indicate that the motivation for the murder is related to conflicts involving the negotiation of a vehicle. "The incident was initially due to a disagreement. All three involved had problems transferring and selling vehicles. As a result, today's perpetrator had already sought out this victim on other occasions, including trying to force him to transfer a vehicle and pay off the remainder of a debt that was supposed to be R$50,000. Today he went to collect it again, but was unsuccessful and committed the murder against the victim", commented the police officer. Suspects have police tickets The Military Police reported that the 29-year-old suspect has records for illegal possession of a firearm, damage and contempt. The 27-year-old has a record of robbery, receiving stolen goods and illegal possession of a firearm. The two were taken to the Civil Police station, which will be responsible for investigating the case.
