Even with extensive experience, the consequences of the decision to leave the activity at the Olímpia school and the attacks have not yet been fully overcome. "Emotionally, to this day, it is delicate and sometimes I cry. I've been to therapy, I've seen a psychiatrist and a psychologist. This year, I went for psychoanalysis and, unfortunately, I still haven't felt the results", he says. Currently, she can only relax and rest at night if she takes a medication capable of helping to induce sleep. "I stopped taking antidepressants on my own, but I use sleeping pills. A survey carried out this year by the Centro do Professorado Paulista (CPP) with teachers showed that 65.6% of those interviewed have already suffered some type of aggression within public schools in the state of São Paulo. Of this total, 65.6% reported having already suffered some type of aggression at school. "Psychological violence is one of the biggest concerns for teachers today because it happens constantly and often goes unnoticed by outsiders. Reports usually involve pushing, aggression during conflicts in the classroom, throwing objects, attempts at physical intimidation and, in more serious cases, direct aggression committed by students", commented the president of the CPP, Silvio dos Santos Martins. "When a professional starts to work in fear, it affects their mental health, their self-esteem and their quality of life.
