देहरादून में कारगिल युद्ध में शामिल रहे पूर्व सैनिक की बेटी ने मंगलवार सुबह फांसी लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। मौके से एक सुसाइड नोट बरामद हुआ है, जिसमें उसने 'I love you, I'm sorry' लिखने के साथ खुद को इस कदम के लिए जिम्मेदार बताया है। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है। चंद्रमणि कॉलोनी निवासी राजेश मल्ल थापा की 23 वर्षीय बेटी रिया कुमारी लंबे समय से मेडिकल प्रवेश परीक्षा NEET की तैयारी कर रही थी। राजेश मल्ल थापा भारतीय सेना की 4/3 गोरखा राइफल्स में हवलदार रहे हैं। वर्ष 1999 में कारगिल युद्ध के दौरान उनकी बटालियन अल्मोड़ा से लेह और वहां से कारगिल पहुंची थी। वर्ष 2012 में वह सेना से सेवानिवृत्त हुए थे। परिजनों और स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार रिया पढ़ाई और भविष्य को लेकर गंभीर थी। हालांकि पुलिस ने अभी तक आत्महत्या के कारण के रूप में किसी एक वजह की पुष्टि नहीं की है। 4 प्वाइंट्स में पढ़िए पूरी घटना… 1. सुबह कमरे में फंदे से लटकी मिली सीओ सदर अंकित कंडारी के अनुसार रिया देर रात तक पढ़ाई करती थी और सुबह अक्सर देर से उठती थी। मंगलवार सुबह करीब 10:30 बजे उसकी मां नाश्ते के लिए उसे बुलाने पहुंचीं, लेकिन कमरे का दरवाजा नहीं खुला। बाद में उसके पिता जब मंदिर से लौटे और कमरे का दरवाजा खोला तो रिया फंदे से लटकी मिली। सूचना मिलने पर कोतवाली पटेल नगर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और जांच शुरू की। इसके बाद शव को पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए मोर्चरी भेज दिया गया। 2. नोट में लिखा- 'मैं बोझ हूं, मुझे माफ कर दीजिए' घटनास्थल से पुलिस को एक सुसाइड नोट मिला है। सीओ अंकित कंडारी के अनुसार नोट में रिया ने खुद को इस कदम के लिए जिम्मेदार बताया है। नोट में उसने लिखा, 'I'm sorry for being a burden. It's nobody's fault but my own incompetence. The best option is to end it. I love you. I'm sorry.' यानी, ‘मुझे बोझ बनने के लिए माफ कर दीजिए। इसमें किसी और की कोई गलती नहीं है, बल्कि मेरी अपनी अयोग्यता जिम्मेदार है। इसे खत्म कर देना ही सबसे बेहतर विकल्प है। मैं आपसे प्यार करती हूं। मुझे माफ कर दीजिए।’ पुलिस सुसाइड नोट की हैंडराइटिंग समेत अन्य पहलुओं की जांच कर रही है। 3. मेडिकल प्रवेश परीक्षा की कर रही थी तैयारी परिजनों के अनुसार रिया लंबे समय से NEET की तैयारी कर रही थी और मेडिकल क्षेत्र में करियर बनाना चाहती थी। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि वह पढ़ाई को लेकर काफी गंभीर थी। सीओ के अनुसार शुरुआती जांच में यह सामने आया है कि वह प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी कर रही थी। हालांकि पुलिस का कहना है कि अभी तक ऐसा कोई तथ्य सामने नहीं आया है जिससे यह कहा जा सके कि किसी विशेष परीक्षा या हालिया NEET विवाद की वजह से उसने यह कदम उठाया। 4. पढ़ाई में मेधावी थी रिया परिजनों के अनुसार रिया पढ़ाई में बेहद मेधावी छात्रा थी। उसने देहरादून के क्लेमनटाउन स्थित राजा राम मोहन राय एकेडमी (पूर्व में राजा राम मोहन राय इंटर कॉलेज) से 12वीं की परीक्षा में 96.
