Camera records being run over and running after a fight at a party house in Juiz de Fora The Civil Police are investigating a collision that left two men injured in the early hours of last Sunday (14), in the Novo Horizonte neighborhood, in Juiz de Fora. The crime took place in front of an event house on Rua Coronel Antônio Teixeira Carvalho and images from a security camera recorded the incident. (see video above) The 34-year-old driver of the car fled shortly after the impact and had not been located until the last update of this report. ✅ Click here to follow the g1 Zona da Mata channel on WhatsApp According to the police report, the 39-year-old security guard at the event and a 29-year-old man who witnessed the incident reported that the driver was involved in a disturbance inside the establishment. When approached by security guards to be removed from the place, he allegedly accelerated his pace to leave the house. In the images, it is possible to see the moment when the man, who was in a white car, took off at high speed and hit pedestrians for the first time. Then, he returns, also at high speed, and one of the victims is thrown into the air. One of the injured, aged 30, suffered a serious injury with laceration to his left knee. Due to the severity of the injury, he was unable to give a statement at the scene. The second victim, aged 28, had some injuries to his face. He was conscious and confirmed the dynamics of the collision to the police. The two were rescued and taken to the Emergency Hospital. The updated health status was not reported by the health unit. The PM reported that they carried out searches at addresses linked to the suspect in the Ipiranga and Teixeiras neighborhoods, but he was not found in any of the properties. According to the State Secretariat of Justice and Public Security, the suspect has three stints in the prison system, between 2009 and 2016.
