In Madagascar, hundreds of thousands of students have started the CEPE exams, the Certificate of Primary Studies, an exam which marks the end of the primary cycle and the transition to middle school. An important moment for Malagasy families, even though a reform project provides, in the long term, for the elimination of this exam.
