Japan Fair Trade Commission conducts urgent investigation to understand the reality of price pass-through in petroleum-related products

As the prices of petroleum-related products rise due to the situation in the Middle East, the Japan Fair Trade Commission has announced that it will conduct an urgent investigation to determine whether small and medium-sized enterprises, which are in a weak trading position, are able to appropriately pass on the cost increases to prices.
