Guest destroys birthday party decorations with pool cue The mother of the child whose birthday party was destroyed by a guest told g1 that her son was sleeping at the time of the fight and that she did not witness the situation. A video recorded by a security camera at the salon shows the moment in which the woman's ex-girlfriend breaks the party decorations with a pool cue, in Aparecida de Goiânia (see above). The child's mother said that her ex-partner went to the party after insisting that she wanted to participate and her son also asking her to go. She highlighted that she thought her ex would leave after singing happy birthday, but that she refused to leave the place. "Several people present tried to talk to her and ask her to leave, but she continued to refuse and threatened the guests. Given the situation, we began to consider calling the police," he said. The video recorded at the event site shows the moment when the guest passes by swinging the pool cue and knocking over the decorations. Soon after, she attacks a woman and other guests try to break up the fight. "Fortunately, he was sleeping in a room at the time of the disturbance and did not witness anything that happened," he highlighted. Both the child's mother and her ex-partner ended up being arrested in the act. According to the Civil Police, the child's mother was arrested for bodily injury, while her ex-partner was arrested for bodily injury, resistance, qualified harm with violence to the person, or serious threat, contempt and disobedience. Destroyed decoration The owner of the decoration told g1 that she did not receive the agreed payment for the material used at the party and ended up losing money. "I'm going to be at a loss, with my things broken. The owner of the space gave me assistance so I could go there and see what was left of my things, but it was practically a total loss of everything, because they fell on top of the irons, the supports", he declared. The child's mother explained that she chose not to pay for the service extrajudicially, because she was exposed about the fight before she had the opportunity to talk about what happened. She also highlighted that she had not refused to pay for the decoration and that she only did not resolve the payment issue sooner because she ended up being arrested and was unable to contact the businesswoman.
