Voting was held yesterday in the Pre-Selection Provisional Commission established within the GNAT Planning and Budget Commission for the election of the president of the Court of Accounts, which carries out financial audits of public administrations. The current President of the Court of Accounts, Metin Yener, and Presidential Strategy and Budget Directorate General Director of Budget, Bahtiyar Sazlık, were the two names that received the most votes. One of these two names will be elected as the President of the Court of Accounts in the voting to be held in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly in the coming days.
