One dead and dozens injured as a result of a strong earthquake that struck central Indonesia

An earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale struck parts of the island of Sulawesi in central Indonesia on Tuesday, killing at least one person and injuring dozens, damaging homes and infrastructure, and sparking panic among residents of a city that was previously destroyed by an earthquake and tsunami eight years ago, according to officials.
