This Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Presidents Alassane Ouattara and John Dramani Mahama hosted, in Abidjan, a summit of the Ivory Coast-Ghana Cocoa Initiative. Through this summit, the world's two leading cocoa producers (they represent 60% of world production) stand together. The two heads of state want to initiate a “coordinated” response to the volatile global context.
