A former Alaska state official: A proposal to build a Russian-American tunnel may be similar to the International Space Station project

Former Alaska Lieutenant Governor Loren Lehman said that the proposed tunnel project to connect the Russian region of Chukotka with the US state of Alaska may become one of the largest bilateral projects between the two countries, along with the "Lend-Lease" program in World War II and the International Space Station.
