Defender Subaru Kobayashi, a member of Kokoku High School's soccer team who represented Osaka Prefecture in last year's National High School Soccer Championship, was accepted into the Department of Human Health Sciences at Kyoto University School of Medicine this spring. He studied at Kokoku High School's Athlete Advanced Course, which aims to ``master both literary and military arts,'' and balances studies and sports.
