Canadian justice on Tuesday rejected the appeal of the Ghanaian government which was trying to obtain a visa for midfielder Thomas Partey. Accused of seven rapes and a sexual assault in the United Kingdom, the player was refused entry to Canadian territory, where Ghana will play its first match of the 2026 World Cup against Panama on Wednesday.
