While the police were searching to arrest those involved and recover the motorcycle, they suspected a car that was traveling along Estrada das Lavadeiras.
When approaching, the military discovered that the car had been stolen a short time ago and in the same neighborhood where the robbery of the motorcyclist took place.
“Immediately, we began dialogue, conversation and information gathering with these perpetrators and discovered that these two perpetrators, who stole the four-wheeled vehicle, also participated in the criminal action that culminated in the theft of the motorcycle," said the sergeant.
A replica gun was seized from one of them.
According to the PM, during the search, a third teenager was located. During the search, the stolen motorcycle was recovered, hidden in an area of vegetation. Officers seized a second replica gun.
The three teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were apprehended and taken to the Civil Police station, accompanied by their legal guardians. The recovered vehicles were removed to accredited yards.
"It is worth noting that the teenagers, all from Coronel Fabriciano, decided, through their own agreement, to move to the city of Ipatinga to commit the crimes. They all had previous records for criminal acts related to robbery, trafficking and even homicide."
