A serious accident involving a car and a van left one man dead and three people injured this Tuesday (16), on the AL-210 highway. The collision occurred in the rural area between the municipalities of Cajueiro and Viçosa, in the Zona da Mata of Alagoas. (Watch above) According to the Military Police, the raid took place near Ladeira Chã dos Costas. The man who died at the scene has not had his identity released. Ten military personnel and three company vehicles were at the scene, in addition to a rescue helicopter deployed to provide rapid support to the operation. The teams rescued the three survivors. The health status of the injured had not been disclosed until the last update of this report. A team from the Highway Police Battalion (BPRv) was deployed to isolate the area and organize the flow of vehicles on the highway. The causes of the collision will be investigated.
