The G7 leaders received the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, in Évian-les-Bains. With the memorandum agreed between the United States and Iran, Zelensky hopes that peace talks with Russia will be unblocked and wants to hold a meeting with the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, before the winter, and assures that this depends on the American leader, Donald Trump. For its part, the Kremlin indicated that it had not received any official invitation from kyiv and appears to reject any discussions with Ukraine, unless they are held in Moscow.
