“Attack on the future of Europe” – Economist calls for AI turnaround due to Anthropic ban

From the perspective of economist Clemens Fuest, the US blockade of the latest AI software is more serious than the Iran war. A “kind of emergency program” is needed, like after Russia’s attack on Ukraine, in order to massively expand data center capacities in Europe.
