An agreement between Iran and the United States will be signed on Friday in the Swiss city of Bürgenstock, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and Luzerner Zeitung reported on Tuesday, citing the Swiss Foreign Ministry. “This place was proposed by the Pakistani and Qatari mediators in the negotiations, as well as the United States and Iran,” the publications quote the words of the representative of the Swiss Foreign Ministry, Nicolas Bidot. “Switzerland acts as a mediator, creating practical and diplomatic conditions allowing this meeting to be held on its territory,” the newspapers note.
