Nidek accounting fraud considers postponing submission of last year's securities report

NIDEK, a major electronic components company whose fraudulent accounting practices were revealed, has announced that it is considering applying to the government to extend the deadline for submission of its securities report, which summarizes its business status, including last year's financial statements, from the end of June.
