Seven of them (six couples and a police officer) are being tried for the abduction and concealment of the 5-year-old boy, which occurred on June 13, 2024 in the province of Corrientes. The other ten, for hindering the investigation, illegitimate deprivation of freedom of key witnesses and keeping money from the Municipality of 9 de Julio that was for “logistics expenses.” The trial will last no less than four months and more than 200 witnesses were summoned to testify.
