Man arrested for attempted feminicide at gas station in Jaboticabal, SP Images from a security camera show the moment a man attacked a woman with a machete in the courtyard of a gas station in Jaboticabal (SP). The man was arrested red-handed for attempted feminicide. The case happened on Monday afternoon (16) in an establishment near Avenida José da Costa. In the images (watch above) you can see the man hitting the woman with the machete. Regulars and employees of the gas station noticed the attacks and the woman ran into a bathroom and locked herself. The attacker tried to break into the room, banging on the door several times, but was unable to do so. According to the Military Police, people at the station saw the patrol car and warned them about the attack. "Immediately, he was asked to stop. In principle, he refused, he left with this machete in his hands. We remained with the order to stop, he ended up leaving this machete and then he was subdued, handcuffed. We went to the bathroom, inside there was a woman with some injuries from some blows she had suffered before", says Sergeant Ferraz. The victim was taken to the Emergency Care Unit (UPA) and has already been discharged. She told the Military Police that she was with a man in a car and that the two were going out to use drugs, but they had a disagreement and she was attacked. The suspect was also taken to the UPA because of injuries caused during the attack and taken to the Women's Defense Police Station (DDM), where he was arrested in the act. According to Sergeant Ferraz, the attacker already has two convictions for homicide. He must undergo a custody hearing this Tuesday (16). In his car, police found three knives and two amounts of crack. The material was seized along with the machete.
