The Federal Police (PF) carried out this Tuesday morning (16), in Presidente Prudente (SP) and region, Operation Stratus to combat and dismantle international drug trafficking carried out by a criminal organization. The PF action also investigates associations for trafficking and money laundering. The investigations that led to today's operation began in October 2025 and authorities identified that criminals used planes and clandestine landing strips to send cocaine to other countries. International operation seizes 1.3 tons of cocaine on the high seas. According to the PF, the criminal organization moved more than 10 tons of drugs and part of this amount was destined for the capital of São Paulo. Authorities, over the past few months, have already seized more than two tons of cocaine. This Tuesday, ten preventive arrest warrants and sixteen search and seizure warrants were served. There is also a blocking of assets. In addition to Presidente Prudente, police action also takes place in the cities of Regente Feijó, Martinópolis, Álvares Machado and Mirante do Paranapanema, all in the interior of São Paulo.
