Medicine courses in Brazil will be evaluated on Enamed Disclosure Registration for the National Medical Training Assessment Exam (Enamed) 2026 began this Monday (15) and will run until June 29. Registration must be done exclusively through the Enamed System. The test will be administered on September 13th in all states and the Federal District. During the same registration period, participants will also be able to request specialized care and treatment using their social name. ➡️Enamed is mandatory for students completing medical courses evaluated by the National Student Performance Exam (Enade) 2026, as long as they have been qualified and registered by educational institutions. Participation is also mandatory for fourth-year medical students enrolled by colleges. Residency vacancies In addition to undergraduates, doctors who have already graduated will be able to take the test to use the result in the selection processes for direct access specialties of the National Residency Exam (Enare) 2026/2027. One of the new features of this edition is the possibility of reusing the Enamed 2025 score in the Enare selection. Anyone who has a valid result will be able to choose, at the time of registration, between using the grade already obtained or taking a new test in 2026. Even candidates who choose to reuse their previous grade will need to register with Enamed to inform this choice. If the participant uses the 2025 score and also takes this year's test, the highest score obtained will be considered for Enare classification purposes. According to Inep, the Enamed score will be valid for three years for graduates and seniors, being calculated based on Item Response Theory (IRT). On the day of the race, the gates will open at noon and close at 1 pm, Brasília time. The exam will start at 1:30 pm and end at 6:30 pm.
