While private school teachers, who are employed for low wages, continue their protests in Ankara, the attitude of the Ministry of National Education on this issue has also become clear. While responding to parliamentary questions regarding the strike at Istanbul Private Italian High School, the Ministry stated that education personnel in private educational institutions are subject to the provisions of the Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law and the Labor Law within the scope of their employment contracts, and that the resolution of disputes arising from the employment contract is not directly carried out by the ministry.
