Last week, the Federal Police (PF) also rejected the second proposal. The investigators concluded that the banker did not present any news regarding the material that had already been seized and did not admit that he had committed crimes.
On March 4, Vorcaro was arrested again and was the target of the third phase of the PF's Operation Compliance Zero, which investigates financial fraud at Master and the attempted purchase of the institution by Banco Regional de Brasília (BRB), a public bank linked to the Government of the Federal District (GDF). Since then, he has been trying to reach a plea deal.
The banker is trapped in a room at the PF Superintendence in Brasília.
