The inspection on the hospital premises lasted just over three hours and was motivated by a complaint from nurse Bianca Caroline de Carvalho, aged 26. She claims that she was the victim of sexual harassment by doctor José Fábio Capozzi, aged 48, during a shift on Saturday, May 30th.
According to the incident report registered by the nurse, the doctor called her to the office under the pretext of dealing with work matters. There, he allegedly locked the door and tried to kiss her by force. José Fábio Capozzi denies the accusations. He was arrested red-handed at the time, but released less than 24 hours later, after a custody hearing.

According to the Coren-MG inspector responsible for the investigation, Milene Aguiar, two witnesses were interviewed during the action.
"These witnesses were mentioned in the request made to Coren-MG. So we came promptly to hear them and the documents that are relevant to the operation of these negotiations within the hospital", he said.
The Civil Police informed, in a note, that the case remains confidential and that other investigations are underway. The corporation did not grant an interview.

The Coren-MG inspection is part of an internal administrative process, which does not yet have a deadline for completion. At the end, the report will be presented at a plenary session of the council.
If the complaint is confirmed, a public complaint may be issued, a formal instrument of repudiation in defense of the professional who suffered violence or offense in the performance of their role.
In a note, Hospital São Lourenço informed that it provided Coren with all the requested information. The report also tried to contact doctor José Fábio Capozzi, but received no response.
