The second suspect was located during the morning. According to the Military Police, both have criminal records. The first for bodily injury and tampering with a vehicle identification sign, and the second for reception. The duo will be charged with robbery, which is robbery followed by death. Ambush According to the police report, the victim, identified as José Francisco Neto Bezerra, was attracted by the criminals after an order for two snacks and a soft drink was made using one of the suspects' cell phones. After searches, the suspect was located, arrested and taken to the Civil Police Station. The police also requested that the arrest be maintained, citing the seriousness of the case and the risk of harm to the investigations. The cell phone seized from the arrested man will be analyzed by the investigation. According to the Civil Police, the device can help clarify whether other people participated in the crime and reinforce the line of investigation that the action was premeditated. The case was registered as robbery followed by death and continues to be investigated by the Tarabai Civil Police. Contradictions In a statement to the police, the arrested man stated that he went to Tarabai accompanied by a second suspect and initially claimed that he was only driving the vehicle, while the accomplice would look for a motorcycle to return to Paraná. According to police, the suspect initially said he did not know that his partner was armed. However, during his testimony, he ended up changing his version and admitted that he was aware that he was carrying a 38-caliber revolver. During the conversation with investigators, the prisoner also indicated the place where the victim's stolen motorcycle had been hidden.
