Alambandan is one of the traditional mourning customs of South Khorasan in the month of Muharram, which is performed in some areas in the evening of the last day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, which marks the beginning of the Muharram ceremony. On the day of science, people are informed by reading Chavoshi or announcing from the loudspeaker. After the gathering of people, elders and Sadat place clothes, handkerchiefs, cloths and knowledge and smoke pewter while working, one person sings Chavoshi Togh and others send salawat.
