Transport to the helicopter required a special structure, with the use of a mobile ICU and a neonatal transport incubator. The action involved professionals from HAC and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu). According to city hall, the baby has already undergone surgery and is recovering well. The family lives in the Estrada da Saudade region, in Petrópolis. The municipal secretary of Health, Clarissa Rippel, highlighted the mobilization of the teams involved in the transfer. "Every minute counts when we are dealing with the life of a newborn. Seeing this great chain of good work, involving everything from doctors and nurses to the social assistance team and pilots, fills us with pride and hope", he stated.
