Do the French really have difficulty insuring their homes because of natural disasters? A report points to "tensions" in a few thousand municipalities, especially "in the East, the Massif Central, Corsica and the Overseas Territories"

The Central Reinsurance Fund has identified 903 French municipalities experiencing “mild” to “moderate” difficulties in accessing home insurance for occupants of individual homes. The government will launch a mission to overseas territories in order to “identify solutions” regarding specific risks such as cyclones.
