Reuters: Tesla provided misleading safety data to European regulators

Documents and correspondence reviewed by Reuters revealed that electric car manufacturer Tesla submitted safety statistics to regulatory authorities in Sweden and the Netherlands, which independent researchers in the field of traffic safety described as amounting to misleading marketing, as part of efforts to obtain European approval for a “full self-driving” system.
