A 6.2 magnitude earthquake occurred off the island of Mindanao in the south of the Philippines, at a depth of 112 kilometers. 65 people lost their lives in the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the region located on the Pacific Ring of Fire and the seismically active Cotabato Trench.
