Cardiawave is working on a treatment of stenosis using ultrasound, with a different approach from traditional surgery. The objective is to no longer replace the heart valve, explains Carine Schorochoff, general director of the company: "Replacing the valve often leads to complications and a long convalescence. The idea today is to repair the valve, a non-invasive approach."
