The flight will go to Bengaluru with 161 passengers. Apart from this, in the second flight, 170 farmers who had given their land for the construction of the airport left for Lucknow from Noida in a special flight. Of these, 20 are women farmers. All of them have reached Lucknow. Farmers will meet CM Yogi. The airport was inaugurated by PM Modi on March 28. The work of the first phase has been completed. In this, terminals and runways have been built on about 3300 acres of land. Rs 11 thousand crores have been spent on this project. The airport is being built in 4 phases. After completion of the work, it will be the largest airport in Asia and the sixth largest in the world. The foundation stone of the airport was laid on 25 November 2021. That means the airport has been completed in 5 years. About 1.2 crore passengers will be able to travel from here every year. Today regular flights will also start for Hyderabad and Amritsar. IndiGo will start regular flights from Noida to Bengaluru and Jammu from June 16. Akasa Air is also scheduled to launch daily flights from Noida to Bengaluru and Navi Mumbai on June 16. Apart from this, flights are also to be started for Bareilly, Srinagar, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Dharamshala, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Kishangarh and Dehradun.
