The aircraft crashed on the land of an abandoned church that had been rented by BYD, in the block of Avenida das Américas and Beth Lago and Rivadávia Campos streets. One of the helicopters exploded when it hit the ground, and the flames spread to the electric vehicles, causing more explosions. The plume of smoke could be seen from miles away. The other did not catch fire and fell with its landing gear in the air.
