Last weekend there were heavy downpours in several Russian regions. In some areas of Moscow, almost half of the monthly rainfall fell, the storm toppled trees, flooded New Arbat, Kutuzovsky Prospekt and other streets, as well as underground parking lots and the Leningradsky railway station building. Media reports that in the Zyuzino district, a resident on a SUP board helped drivers get out of their cars (the water level reached the middle of the doors). In Mytishchi near Moscow, water partially flooded the overpass on Olimpiysky Prospekt.
