According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the accident happened at km 110 of the highway. The victim was walking along the shoulder of the road when he was hit by a car. Rescue teams were called, but the man died at the scene. According to the SSP, the driver of the car, a 53-year-old man, remained at the scene and helped the victim.
