At least six people died this Sunday morning (14) after the mid-air collision of two helicopters that crashed on the outskirts of Avenida das Américas, near Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in the southwest zone of Rio de Janeiro. The dead are aircraft crew. The Rio de Janeiro State Military Fire Department was called at 8:59 am. Around 45 soldiers from Recreio dos Bandeirantes, with the support of specialized teams from the Special Actions Group, were deployed to the location.  Related news: Twin-engine crash leaves two dead in Marília, in the interior of São Paulo.
