Rangers of the British Royal Navy intercepted and boarded a Russian "Shadow Fleet" oil tanker in the English Channel in the early hours of Sunday morning. This six-hour operation was carried out with the cooperation of the agents of the National Crime Agency and the support of the Air Force. This is the first British Armed Forces operation of its kind.
