“Farewell my love”: the last letters of those shot by the Nazis finally given to their families

It was not until 80 years after the end of the Second World War that letters found in the execution files of victims of Nazi persecution were finally read by their loved ones. Preserved by the Munich archives, they had never been returned to the families. Some were written by French people arrested and executed in Germany.
