Action takes place between Vicente de Carvalho and Bartolomeu de Gusmão avenues Francisco Arrais/PMS The city of Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, hosts another edition of the Vem Pra Orla project this Sunday (14). From 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, a section of the waterfront will be transformed into a space for leisure, sports and entertainment activities aimed at residents and tourists (see schedule below). The initiative is free and takes place every Sunday during the winter. The project is carried out in partnership between the Traffic Engineering Company (CET-Santos), the departments of Sports (Semes) and Culture (Secult), the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) and other municipal bodies. ✅ Click here to follow the new g1 Santos channel on WhatsApp. Now on g1 Traffic changes According to the city hall, Avenidas Vicente de Carvalho and Avenida Bartholomeu de Gusmão will be closed between Avenida Ana Costa and Rua Carlos de Campos, in the direction of José Menino–Ponta da Praia. The space will be used for activities such as walking, running, walking with pets and other leisure options. Also according to the municipality, the closure of the road used by the event begins at 4 am, before the activities begin. 👉 As an alternative route, CET advises drivers to use Rua Galeão Carvalhal, Rua Governador Pedro de Toledo and Avenida Epitácio Pessoa. Additionally, some public transport lines will have changes to their routes: Lines 23, 52 and 152, towards José Menino and Ponta da Praia, follow Avenida Ana Costa, Praça da Independência, Rua Galeão Carvalhal, Rua Governador Pedro de Toledo, Avenida Doutor Epitácio Pessoa, Avenida Rei Alberto I and Praça Gago Coutinho.
