Young man discovers persecution from former teacher when simulating Pix for unknown number
A Pix worth R$0.01 was the tool used by a former student at the State Technical School (Etec) in Cubatão (SP) to identify the author of sexual messages he received over the phone. According to the young man, the strategy made it possible to discover the name of a teacher at the unit, who ended up being removed from his position.
The student told g1 that he started receiving messages from an unknown number in May 2024, when he was still a student at the institution. In contacts, the author called him "beautiful" and "hot". The case is investigated by the Civil Police as persecution, a crime known as stalking.

How did Pix help with identification?
When researching ways to find out who was behind the number, the young man found a suggestion to simulate a bank transfer.
When the contact is registered as a Pix key, it is possible to identify the name and part of the Individual Taxpayer Registry (CPF). By entering the unknown number and simulating a transfer of R$0.01, the student claims to have found the teacher's name.
"As I already suspected who it was, I did the same thing as Pix and it was the teacher", he reported.

Messages continued
After the first identification, the former student blocked contact. However, in October 2025, he received new similar messages from another unknown number.
According to the young man, the same strategy revealed the teacher's name again. After the discovery, he contacted the school to report the case.
According to the student, the unit verified that the part of the CPF displayed in the simulation coincided with the teacher's registration at the institution. He stated that he was instructed to register a police report and formalize a complaint.
Case is investigated
Last Sunday (7), the former student was contacted again, this time through the Telegram application. According to him, the messages had sexually suggestive content.
At the insistence of his contacts, the young man filed a police report. In the document, he reported feeling embarrassment, discomfort and insecurity even after blocking the numbers used.
The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP) reported that the case is being investigated by the 3rd Police District of Cubatão, which is taking steps to clarify the facts.

Stalking: understand what this crime is, know how to identify it and see how to report it
Lawyer Fabio Hypolitto, who has no relation to the case, explained to g1 that the crime of stalking is provided for in article 147-A of the Penal Code. The practice occurs when someone repeatedly persecutes another person, threatening the victim's physical or psychological integrity.
Hypolitto added that the crime can happen both in person and online. As a previous g1 report showed, the main characteristic is repetition, but the ways in which harassment can occur are varied, for example:
Many messages from the same person on different occasions, even signaling that they do not want to have that contact;
Many calls in a row;
Comments, mainly with negative content, on publications made on social networks;
The stalker can create fake profiles on social networks to monitor what you post if you are blocked;
Family members and/or friends begin to be followed by the stalker, or by the same fake profiles;
The victim realizes that someone is always in the same places and times as you;
The victim receives comments that show that that person has seen you or knows about your routine, such as saying exactly what clothes you were wearing or a photo of something of you or a place you have been. 🚨 ATTENTION: The term "stalking" may seem banal because it is used to refer to the practice of snooping on people's posts. Curiosity, in itself, does not constitute any type of crime.

What the Paula Souza Center says
See the full note from Centro Paula Souza below:
"The Paula Souza Center (CPS) informs that the teacher will be temporarily removed from his activities until the conclusion of the preliminary investigation of the case. Upon learning of the facts, the management of Etec de Cubatão welcomed the former student and advised him to register a police report. The complainant is no longer a student at the unit.
The complaint has already been sent to the State Comptroller General. The Center informs that it has a Permanent Guidance and Prevention Committee against Moral and Sexual Harassment to train professionals, aiming to raise awareness among the academic community and its employees about unrestricted respect for civil rights.
The Paula Souza Center continues to monitor the case and is available to the authorities. The CPS rejects any and all forms of harassment inside and outside its units."
