Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, performed scuba diving in the Izmit Bay in Kocaeli, where the second stage was completed and 2.4 million cubic meters of bottom mud was cleaned. Minister Kurum said, "We are starting a project in which we will continue this cleaning from Izmit Bay to Fethiye Gulf. 2 more dredging ships have been added to our structure in Fethiye. We are starting dredging in Fethiye Bay." he said.
