Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel will not be a party to the agreement. Netanyahu has repeatedly disagreed with Trump in the past few weeks over the United States' demand that Israel restrain its military operations in Lebanon to allow Washington the opportunity to reach an agreement with Tehran. Araqchi said that the agreement would end the war in Lebanon, which would mean Israel’s withdrawal from the occupied territories.
