Homicide with eventual intent is when a person does not directly want to kill someone, but assumes the risk that death may occur by carrying out a certain conduct. In Criminal Law, there is a difference between:
direct intent: when there is a clear intention to kill;
eventual intent: when the person foresees that their attitude could cause death, but still decides to act;
fault: when there is no intention or acceptance of the risk, but negligence, imprudence or incompetence occurs.

The company responsible for the jump charged R$180 for the activity and had five other dates scheduled for the coming months. When looking for the company to comment on the accident, the reporter received an automatic message with Entre Cordas' jump schedule.

The company also announced a new date at the location for July 11th. In Rio Claro (SP), the jumps scheduled for June 14th and July 12th cost R$210. In Minas Gerais, the activities scheduled for July 18th and 19th cost R$250.
City Hall says it will sue the Federal Government for omission
Limeira City Hall (SP) informed that it will sue the Federal Government for failure to act on the Skeletor Bridge. In a note released in the afternoon, the municipal administration said that it “had been adopting administrative measures and demanding action from the federal agencies responsible for the area” and that the tragedy “makes the continuation of this omission unsustainable and unacceptable”.
According to the City Hall, the responsibility for inspection, maintenance and access control to the Skeleton Bridge lies exclusively with the Federal Government. The municipal administration and the City Council, on the initiative of councilor Bruna Magalhães, had already sent letters to the responsible bodies demanding security measures. "No concrete measures were adopted", he pointed out.
