Campo Grande (MS) will have several streets and avenues closed this Saturday (13) and Sunday (14) due to World Cup games, June festivities and cultural events. The closures begin at different times and affect both the Center and neighborhoods of the city.
In the Center, the main blockade will be because of the Brazilian team's debut in the World Cup. Avenida Mato Grosso will be closed between Rua 13 de Maio and Avenida Ernesto Geisel, from 4pm to 11pm this Saturday.

There will also be a blockade in the Esplanada Ferroviária region, at the intersections of Rua 14 de Julho and Rua Doutor Temístocles, from noon. Anyone passing by can use 13 de Maio and Maracaju streets as a detour.

In addition to the games, residents will organize actions in neighborhoods, such as painting streets in Brazilian colors and setting up big screens to watch the matches. Because of this, some roads will also be closed.
Among them are Rua Araguacema, from 8am to 5pm, Rua Maria Luiza Spengler, from noon, and Rua William Maksoud, which will be closed from 5pm to 11:30pm to show the games.
In the Center, there will also be a June party on Rua Barão do Rio Branco, between Padre João Crippa and Pedro Celestino streets. The section will be closed until 11:59 pm on Sunday.
