The action was carried out in an area known as "Boca da Argentina", in the Itapuca neighborhood. According to the Military Police, agents went to the location and carried out aerial monitoring with the help of a drone, after receiving complaints about the sale of drugs. Also according to the PM, at the address, the three suspects, aged 36, 16 and 15, were caught carrying out suspicious activity. Upon noticing the police approaching, they tried to flee, but were caught and approached by the teams. The police then searched nearby and located a backpack hidden in a vegetation area. Inside, there were 216 wraps of marijuana, 84 pins of cocaine, 70 rocks of crack and 8 portions of hashish. In total, 2.4 kg of drugs were seized. The drugs were packaged for sale and had labels with inscriptions that referred to a criminal faction. The suspects and all material were taken to the Resende police station (89th DP), where the incident was registered. The man was charged with trafficking and association for drug trafficking and remained in prison.
