Knife used by man arrested for robbery in Fervedouro Military Police/Disclosure A man was arrested after robbing a store in the center of Fervedouro, on Friday afternoon (12). During the search for the suspect, the Military Police found a monitoring system used by drug trafficking to monitor police movements in the city. According to the PM, the robbery took place in an establishment on Avenida Braulir Marcelino do Prado. The man was located at a family member's house and, during the search, the police found the knife used in the robbery. According to the corporation, the suspect confessed to the robbery and said he had used part of the money to buy drugs at a drug deal in the city. Based on the information, the military went to the indicated address. At the scene, they found evidence of attempted destruction of evidence, including traces of a substance similar to cocaine that had been discarded in the property's hydraulic system. Cameras monitored police arrival During the operation, the police also seized four monitoring cameras and two DVR devices which, according to the PM, were used to observe the approach and movement of security forces in the region. The equipment was part of a surveillance system that would assist local drug trafficking, allowing suspects to monitor the police presence in real time. In total, R$600 in cash, the knife used in the robbery, four cameras and two DVR devices were seized. The man was arrested red handed and taken to the Civil Police Station. The incident will be investigated.
