Police officers respond to Military Police Inquiries (IPMs) and, if irregularities are proven, they may respond in criminal, administrative and disciplinary areas. In addition to the 10 ongoing investigations, the Internal Affairs Department reported that it has already established five Disciplinary Councils and a Justification Council, procedures that could result in the expulsion of police officers from the corporation.
