Suspect in series of robberies is arrested with car without license plates in Feira de Santana Social Networks A 23-year-old man, suspected of carrying out a series of robberies in Feira de Santana, the second largest city in Bahia, was arrested red-handed on Friday (12). His name was not released. According to the Civil Police (PC), the suspect was already being investigated by the Theft and Robbery Repression Police Station (DRFR) of Feira de Santana for involvement in several armed robberies in the city. During the investigations, he was identified and was formally recognized by one of the victims. The arrest occurred during an action carried out by DRFR teams. According to police, the man was found driving a vehicle without any identification plates. The Civil Police reported that the man's criminal history and suspicions of participation in robberies reinforced the hypothesis that the vehicle could be used to commit crimes. The man and the car were taken to the DRFR headquarters in Feira de Santana. After the legal procedures, the suspect remained in custody at the Sobradinho Police Complex, where he remains at the disposal of the Justice Department.
